Mumbai's first underground metro line, the much-awaited Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line), has become operational, marking a transformative moment for the city's public transportation system.
The 33.5 km corridor connecting Colaba to SEEPZ passes through some of the city's busiest areas including Churchgate, Mumbai Central, and Bandra. With 27 stations, the line is expected to carry 1.7 million passengers daily once fully operational.
